Risk Factors

Use of creatine and other supplements that increase DHT production, exogenous factors (medically proven low testosterone followed by treatment), use of anabolic steroids, high training frequency, sweat and buildup on the scalp, inflammation of the skin and scalp (acne, etc.).

Treatment

Assessment with blood tests, treatment with minoxidil, retinoic acid, finasteride, PRP, or hair transplantation.
